Online Timesheets provides the following broad functions:
Clients log onto the Challenge website www.challengeltd.com and select the Online Timesheet item. Then select "Clients"
The Online Timesheets system is designed to authenticate Clients.
You will be asked to enter a login id and password. This will be given to you by your consultant.
If you have forgotten your password, this can be sent to you. If you need to have your password re-set, then please contact us.
You can change your password at any time, by following the Change Password links. This password cannot by seen by anyone else - not even your consultant. Please do not provide this password to anyone else. Keep it secure, and treat it as you would any Personal Identification Number (PIN)
Before a contact can access the OLTS system and start authorising timesheets they will need to request a username and password. The username and password are used to access the OLTS system. In addition they will need to be given a PIN which is used to "Sign" the timesheets. You control all of this so that you can be sure that only authorised users are signing the timesheets.
When a Telstra contact logs on to the website, they are presented with a list of all their current assignments showing the candidate's name, job title and a summary of the timesheet data for each timesheet. They can view the details of each timesheet if they wish, but they cannot edit the timesheet.
For each timesheet the user has three options: "Sign Timesheet", "Reject Timesheet", or "Leave Until Later". If the timesheet is correct and they wish to "Sign" it, they select "Sign Timesheet"; if it needs to be changed, they select "Reject Timesheet"; if they wish to come back and review it later they select "Leave Until Later" (default). The contact simply selects the appropriate action for each timesheet, enters their PIN and clicks the Process button. This then displays a summary page showing all the Signed and Rejected timesheets.
Assignments are not deleted from the OLTS system until two weeks after the end of the assignment and all timesheets have been completed, signed and downloaded to Inhouse Database. This is a safety measure to minimise the risk of data loss and to ensure that candidates have sufficient time at the end of an assignment to get all the timesheets processed. The two-week period is a configurable setting and can be changed if required.
The system also provides for the concept of Master-Contact. Any Telstra contact that has access to OLTS can be made a Master-Contact for their site. Making someone a Master-Contact simply allows them to sign and reject timesheets on behalf of other contacts at that company. This is useful for handling situations where a contact is unavailable to sign timesheets (e.g., they are sick or on leave) but the timesheets need to be signed. In this case the Master-Contact for the company can sign the timesheets without the need to modify any data or give any special access rights at short notice.
When viewing the following screen shots please note the following:
This screen shows all of the current assignments for a Telstra contact, sorted by candidate. The contact will use this screen to sign and reject timesheets, either individually or in batches.
Notes:
This page shows the details of a selected timesheet. It is envisaged that a contact would normally use this screen to decide whether or not a timesheet is accurate and should be signed or rejected.
